This model is a collaboration between Victorinox and Swiss Bianco. It is based on the Firesteel Soldier from Mr Horst A. Brunner, an well known Swiss knife collector who is no longer with us. The Firesteel Farmer offers the same combination of tools as the Farmer with the addition of an external piece of steel used to produce sparks. The firesteel attatchment was made from Mr Fischlin, hence the fish stamp on the steel. This knife is a unique piece that it was made in October 2010 and they won't make this color combination anymore.

The Victorinox Marlinspike Rancher is a 2 layer 93mm Light Green (some say it Aqua Green) Alox SAK. It has the same tool configuration like the First Mate except for the wood saw. This is a special run limited to 100 knives and each knife is numbered-stamped on the small pruner blade. Mine knife is the 031/100.

I really love the old soldier's knives and i have at least one of each decade, starting from 1920 till the new soldier's knife of 2008.
This is a rare variation of a soldier's knife, because except for the standard tools, it has a third layer that includes a saw. It's in very good condition and on the blade has the number 45, that indicates that was made in 1945 and also the letter P, that stands for Private. The Swiss soldier had the option to buy his own army knife. These purchased knives were not subjected to any military inspections. Many Swiss soldiers tended to have two knives, the first one that they got it from the Swiss Army, and a second one that they have bought it for everyday use. I found this knife with a leather sheath and it's one of my rarest soldier's knives.

The Safari Hunter was part of the Safari Series, most of them is no longer produced. It has a large blade, a gutting blade and a wood saw with can opener-screwdriver. In the back layer it has a reamer and a corkscrew. Some other models have variations such as the gutting blade is serrated or the wood saw has a file.

The Victorinox Seaman (model 0.8030.20) is the thinnest of the Alox knives intended for marine use.
It's a single layer 93mm red alox knife that was produced (according to SAKWiki.com) between 1986-1995. Mine knife somewhat unexpectedly has a 85 manufacturing date stamp on the reverse tang! It has a large blade and a Marlinspike, that is useful for untying knots and splicing rope.
It is rare and highly collectible.
